Today is an era of information explosion. With the technology advancement,  people are constantly bombarded with diverse information. However, how much information do we really need? And what kind of information will have a significant impact on the public? The design goal of PreNEWS is to deliver the essential information that has a significant impact on society to the users in the first place so that people can rapidly respond and provide resources and draw great attention to critical issues.

For example :

When some tragedies HAPPEN on the Earth

People take pictures & videos with #Hashtag & check-in

Then they upload those media to their social media account

Countless posts are on social media
at about the same time & place

If PreNEWS detects this unusual
Netflow on any social media

It will filter out those public posts 
containing the same hashtag, time,
& place

Then PreNEWS will deliver the first-hand DATA, which will be faster than any press, to the user.
